Thanksgiving(late I know)
I know it's been a while but here it is. I just wanted to show how easy it is to make a holiday a little nicer. Napkins in the glasses, thanksgiving themed dishes, and a floral arrangement is easy and makes it feel more like a holiday. Plus this pumpkin turkey my sister made was tasty and cute!

Amazing backdrop!
So I went to a activity for church. This night was a chance to recognize all the girls. The theme was the colors of the rainbow because each color represented a value that these girls stand for. Anyways the leader had made this awesome backdrop and this is what it was. Two different color streamers sown together and hung from a line. Genius! The sewing made the streamers ruffle and all the colors it was beautiful. It added so much to the night. It could be used for so many different things.

Halloween dance party!
So I'm involved with a church youth group and we were in charge of the Halloween dance! We were so excited until we was the nothing budget. 150 for all the decorations. That's it. Wow. So one of the members of this group is beyond awesome and build a spider web that cover the whole ceiling with just orange rope. I have a picture( it looked soooooo cool in real life)
Next we made a spider. He was made from Christmas wrapping paper, streamers, a roasting pan and a balloon with a grand total of 25 dollars. The table had an old candle holder with spider webs and Skeleton heads. We had branches that we put into buckets for trees and put lights in them. We had grave stones along the wall. In the hallway we had a balloon ceiling and skeletons( glow in the dark). Top it off with dollar webs, a fog machine, and some black lights and we had a blast.
The reason I know everyone loved it and it was such a awesome thing is because we got 500 kids there! The highest numbers since 2007! It rocked

Disney Cars Party
I loved doing this party. My boy is in love with Cars. The table was pretty easy. They have a lot of Disney cars stuff at the store so it wasn't hard to find.
I saw the cute tire tower on pinterest and it worked like a charm the rest of it was pretty easy to figure out. The black and white fans were 6 for 3.50. The big sign was drawn by my awesome neighbor. We had cars candy and bubbles. The mater hats were so cute I couldn't pass them up (6 dollars for 5)Most of the Disney cars stuff was from Zurchers.
The food turned out great even though it was a lot of work. We had chocolate donuts (easy) cars cookies (a lot of time), cake ( a lot of time), and cupcakes (easy). The cars cookies were made from the cookie cutters they sell at Walmart. The time consuming part was the frosting. The cake was kinda a pain but worth it. Lots of frosting.
My mom did an awesome job on the water bottles. She put all these cute labels on the water bottles using pictures she found on the internet. So cute!
As always it was a big party so we had to decorate the garage but we made it cute! the balloons on the table were 2.50 for 3 and the back drop were dollar store table cloths. We had some cut outs to make it more like radiator springs and called it solid.
We had a blast and it didn't break my budget.
